Ideas are tested out of sample across market regimes, net of realistic costs and market constraints. Most do not survive.

Strategies that pass are implemented with explicit rules for position sizing, liquidity and cost.

Live results are monitored continuously against expectations. Strategies that stop working are retired.
Risk management
Risk is decided in advance
Limits on exposure, concentration, liquidity and drawdown are defined before capital is committed. We plan for deep market declines rather than assume they can be avoided.
